San Francisco stops buying Apple's computers

City reacts to Apple's withdraw from EPEAT

The city emphasized that computers and monitors have to comply with the standards of the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool organization in order to be purchased by the local administration. As Apple stopped the certification of its PCs San Francisco announced that it would not buy Apple computers anymore.
