Capetown develops guideline for Green Procurement

First step towards the implementation of green criteria

Capetown's Supply Chain Management Department recently elaborated an information and guideline paper for the implementation of Green Procurement. The document describes the aims, steps to be taken to achieve these and the principles of green procurement.

Consumers buying more efficient cars in Europe

The average car sold in the EU in 2012 was 9 % more fuel-efficient than the average three years before, according to a new report from the European Environment Agency (EEA).
