EU Energy Labelling
EU and Candidate Countries. Other European countries (Norway, Switzerland and Turkey) have adopted appliance efficiency policies that are totally or largely consistent with those of the EU. In addition a series of countries worldwide (China, Latin America, Iran, etc.) have adopted labelling systems inspired by the European one (Figure 1).

Target

Energy-related product means any good having an impact on energy consumption during use, which is placed on the market and/or put into service in the Union, including parts intended to be incorporated into energy-related products which are placed on the market and/or put into service as individual parts for end-users and of which the environmental performance can be assessed independently.
